About Justin

Hi, I’m Justin. I am an accredited Addiction Counsellor and Life Coach, with many years of experience dealing with Alcohol, Drugs and Gambling. I totally understand the number of times you have said to yourself, ‘This will never happen to me again’, but it does. Feel free to give me a call if you are looking for advise or you want to make changes in your life. I hold 1:1 Counselling sessions in Athlone and Galway.

I am a professionally trained Addiction Counsellor with many years of experience dealing with Alcohol, drugs and Gambling. I have specialised in Adolescent Addiction and have worked in The Aislinn Centre in Kilkenny, which supports young adults and their Families.
I am an Accredited member of the Addiction Counsellors of Ireland, as a Counsellor and a Supervisor, and abide by their code of practice for Counsellors
I have also managed the Rutland Aftercare program, facilitating clients that have completed residential treatment.

I am currently a member of the National Health and Wellbeing Committee for the GAA recently set up by Croke Park. The new Committee was set up to assist all elements of the GAA at national, provincial, and county level in identifying and responding to the health and wellbeing needs of all GAA members. I am also the Health and Wellbeing representative for Connacht .
I played Hurling for Galway at all codes from underage to Senior level. I have recognised that people who play sport can also have many personal issues that interferes or interupts their sporting careers. I work closely with GAA/GPA Counselling services.
I work in a number of areas at present. Athlone, Roscommon and Galway.
